FAQs for Marks Law Group

  • Do I have a valid lawsuit?
You need to research your legal situation thoroughly before making any decision. Often a Statute of Limitations affects one's access to the Court system. The best advice is to be proactive with your case and your recovery.

  • Is there another way to resolve my issue besides going to Court?
Often clients wish to avoid litigation, or at least want to make it the last option. Aaron Marks always puts his clients' interests before his own. Every case is unique, and may or may not require filing a lawsuit.

  • How can I afford to pay for a lawsuit and my medical treatment, not including my other bills?
Aaron Marks is only paid if he recovers money for his clients. If there is no recovery, there is no money due. Also, Aaron can recommend many doctors and treatment centers that will work with clients and defer their payment until that client recovers his or her money. This way the client receives medical care when it is needed. Lastly, Aaron will negotiate with doctors and treatment centers to lower their bills to his clients in order for the clients to keep the money awarded to them.

  • I've never been involved in a lawsuit before. Isn't there another way to resolve our differences?
Initiating litigation is never the first option for a person injured by another's negligence. Aaron Marks will take each serious opportunity to resolve your dispute with the negligent party before filing a lawsuit.

  • I'm convinced the party that injured me has done this before. How do we stop them from hurting someone else?
The civil justice system is the best way for an individual to take on bad actors, especially large, power interests. Because of how our Court system works, and Aaron Marks' dedication to his clients, no defendant individual, corporation, or government is "above the law." Civil law suits can and do make a real difference to our society. Take, for example, how cigarettes used to be marketed and the way cars used to be built.
